The Swirlpools Quilt by Julie Burton of Running Stitch Quilts offers a modern take on the classic Snail’s Trail block, featuring traditional piecing with a fresh, dynamic layout. Inspired by the expansion pattern of the Hurrication quilt, this design includes instructions for both half-yard cuts and fat quarters, giving you the flexibility to experiment with ombré effects or scrappy layouts using your favorite fabric bundles. The pattern include two design options: Ombre (as shown in the cover quilt) and Scrappy. Recommended for an intermediate quilter. Pattern includes instructions for Baby (42" x 42"), Throw (56" x 70"), and Bed (84” x 98”) sizes.
