We are very excited to offer the same shipping solution to our existing and future customers in the EU and UK. The only difference is the VAT fee and shipping dates. See details below.
Your purchases will be a consolidated shipment via FedEx, with no weight requirements. By combining multiple orders via FedEx, there is no need to delay the shipping of your order to meet a minimum weight requirement and only one brokerage fee is applied to the entire shipment. It is a consolidated shipment, so you will pay the same discounted freight rate on ANY size of shipment. Our unparalleled selection of quilting products is now very affordable and FAST to the EU and UK.

Here’s How It Works
- Provide Checker with a valid VAT# if you have not already done so.
- Provide Checker with a credit card containing enough credit limit to cover orders placed.>
- Place your order using normal procedures.
- Your credit card will be pre-authorized for the value of merchandise available to ship (not the total order amount) plus 20% to cover freight and service fee.
- Checker Distributors will prepay all import fees, freight, and VAT (UK)
- The exact final invoice amount will be charged at the time of shipping.
- The following will be added to your invoice:
- Freight is charged at $4.14 per lb. with no minimum weight requirement.
- EU customers: A service fee (8.5% of merchandise value) will cover all duties, taxes, and brokerage fees.
- UK customers: A service fee (8.5% of merchandise value) plus 20% VAT will cover all duties, taxes, and brokerage fees. The VAT amount will be itemized on each invoice in GBP British pounds £.

CANADIAN CONSOLIDATED SHIPPING PROGRAM
We very excited about our shipping solution especially for Checker
customers in Canada. FedEx is providing a solution where you will pay
discounted at rates and fees on every shipment, regardless of size. This
is proving to be a big saving to our Canadian customers! We anticipate
average savings to our Canadian customers of 42% on your shipping fees!
Keep in mind that batting is subject to dimensional weight, which is calculated from the length, width and height of a package. With Checker’s discount freight program, your shipping cost on all batting will be very favorable.

Here’s How It Works
- Ensure Checker has your most up to date credit card (no debit cards allowed) containing enough credit limit to cover orders placed.
- Place your order using normal procedures.
- Checker Distributors (through FedEx) will prepay all import fees, freight, and Canadian 5% GST.
- The exact final invoice amount, including fees, will be charged at the time of shipping.
- Once your shipment has been packed, shipping labels will be generated through the FedEx software and an email is sent to you with your tracking number(s). From this point, it will take between 24 - 36 hours before additional tracking information is available, as the shipments are being cleared through Canadian Customs.
- As soon as your shipment clears Customs, you will see updated delivery date information and additional tracking scans as your packages transit Canada to their ultimate destination.
The Following Will Be Added To Your Checker Invoice
- A service fee (6.5% of merchandise value) will cover brokerage and duty.
- Freight is charged based on zones, with no minimum weight requirement.
- If your shop is not in Ontario or Quebec, your rate is $1.97 per lb.
- If your shop is in Ontario or Quebec, see chart to determine your zone/rate. Zone 0-2 is $1.60 per lb., Zone 3-6 is $1.97 per lb.
- 5% GST (billed in USD).
- You will be responsible for any additional provincial taxes.
