DESCRIPTION
Crisp cuts, soft blooms. This "Fresh Cut" quilt design reimagines a classic log cabin block with petal-like layers radiating around a blooming center. Mix the blocks together for a fun geometric look like mine - or play around with your own combination.
No garden knowledge required - just a beloved Jelly Roll, a few fat quarters, and rotary cutter.
Finished block: 10" x 10"
Finished Pillow: 64-1/2" x 74-1/2"

MATERIALS NEEDED (1) Jelly Roll (36 strips 2-1/2" x WOF) (3) fat quarters
3 yards background print 3/4 yard binding print** 5 yards backing print 73" x 83" batting * Each fat quarter equals 2 additional Jelly Roll strips. **
For a scrappy binding, nix the binding yardage and use leftover Jelly Roll remnants.
Fabric is Garden Glam by Lella Boutique for Moda Fabrics (in shops Nov 2026).
