DESCRIPTION
The flower and the leaves are created from half log cabins made with the Creative Grids Log Cabin Trim Tool for 8-inch finished blocks. Squares of background fabric are folded in half and added to two corners of the log cabins to create the leaves. Oh sew easy and dramatic! This truly can be pieced in an afternoon.
Tip: Eliminate the math by cutting the strips using the center line on any of the Creative Grids 3-1/2 inch wide rectangles. This white line is at the 1-3/4 inch mark, the width of the strips needed for this tool.
