DESCRIPTION
Old, chipped teacups make lovely pincushions, and jelly jars are not only adorable pincushions, but they can store little, littles and maybe even sweet treats! They both make perfect gifts… both for your sewing friends and for yourself! Everyone needs a pretty pincushion!
Teacups & Jelly Jar Supply List
Frixion pen
Fabric & muslin - 6" square for each pincushion top
C&T Wash-Away Stitch Stabilizer
Lace edging for the jelly jar. 14" or so is plenty.
3 ½" square of Wool Felt for jar lid base
Hot glue / glue gun, and craft glue
Chenille needle #24
#8 Embroidery needle
Light box for tracing your embroidery patterns
Wide mouth jelly jar, or teacup and its saucer if you’d like!
Decorations such as ribbon, seam binding, lace, buttons, millinery flowers, beads, charms...OH MY!
Polyfil stuffing
Thread or perle cotton for gathering thread
Embroidery Floss in your choice of colors
