DESCRIPTION
"Nine Blocks Featuring Cozy and Heart Warming Views of 'Home Sweet Home'! Embroidered on tonal 'Aged to Perfection' cotton and finished with more Black and Tan with a splash of Red for a Bold and Beautiful Quilt. Each of the Home Blocks will make a delightful pillow too....perfect or a House Warming Gift!
Trace all the designs directly onto the Aged to Perfection Cotton with a Black FriXion Pen.
NOTE: Because the tonal fabric is darker it is not as easy to see your design with a light box.....I prefer to use Stick 'n Stitch!
If you DO NOT like to trace, use Stick 'n Stitch. Print each Embroidery block on the Stick 'n Stitch 8 1/2"" x 11"" sheets. So easy and accurate. Pull the printed Stick 'n Stitch film off the paper and finger press onto the dark cotton. Add your hoop and get stitching in just minutes - super stuff!
You will need 4 balls of Presencia Black #007 #8 Perle Cotton to embroider the complete design. Keep your Perle Cotton safe in one of our FUN ""Bubbles"" as you carry them in your sewing basket.
The size of the finished quilt is: 48"" x 48""; square the blocks to 9"" x 9"" to finish your quilt.
Fabric Requirements:
Aged to Perfection Fabric Collection:
1 1/4 Yards - Pashmina for Embroidery
A Quilter’s Garden Fabric Collection:
1 1/8 Yard - Black Shirting
3/4 Yard - Tan/Black Butterflies
1/2 Yard - Black Tossed Stitches
1/3 Yard - Sprinkled Red Dots
1/2 Yard - Tan Dotted Plaid"
