DESCRIPTION
This prehistorically cool quilt pattern offers instructions for two quilt sizes: a 43 ½” x 57 ½” quilt featuring a single mammoth, and a 77” x 86” quilt with four mammoths. You can choose to adorn your mammoth with a hat and scarf for winter gear, or keep it cool without. The large block sizes (31 ½” x 34 ½” & 31 ½” x 34 ½”) mean even a single block can create a striking quilt. The design is elegantly framed with half-square-triangle details, as seen on the cover. Utilizing traditional piecing techniques, the Chilly Mammoth pattern heavily relies on the Stitch & Flip method. While there are several points to match, the generous piece sizes provide ample "wiggle room" for achieving perfect points.
