DESCRIPTION
Doesn't it make you dream of exotic locales? Four half log cabins made with the Creative Grids Log Cabin Trim Tool for 8-inch finished blocks and four nine-patches are all you need to make this stunning table runner. Squares of background fabric are folded in half and added to two corners of the log cabins to create the leaves. Oh sew easy and dramatic! This truly can be pieced in an afternoon.
Tip: Eliminate the math by cutting the strips using the center line on any of the Creative Grids 3-1/2 inch wide rectangles. This white line is at the 1-3/4 inch mark, the width of the strips needed for this tool.
Check out companion patterns CLPNAM003, Cabin Flower Table Topper, and CLPNAM005, Log Cabin Wall Flower which use the same technique!
23in x 40in.
Creative Grids CGRJAW1 is required. The Creative Grids CGR312; CGR318; or CGR324 is recommended.
Project Time: 6+ Hours.
Fabric Type: Yardage Friendly.
Project Type: Home.
