The alternating blocks in this quilt were actually made with four curvy log cabin blocks. In one version the wide logs are positioned in the center to create the circle design. In the other version, the narrow logs are positioned in the center for an entirely different look!
Tip: Eliminate the math by cutting the strips using the center line on any of the Creative Grids 4-1/2 inch wide rectangles. This white line is at the 2-1/4 inch mark, the width of the wide strips needed for this project.
Bonus directions included – downsize this pattern to 32in x 44in by using the Creative Grids CGRJAW6.
